mTag is an exciting new media licensing and distribution platform democratising monetisation of digital media. It was also the first business on our brand incubator programme - where we invest in young entrepreneurs and their ideas, joining forces to help develop and launch game-changing projects.
mTag needed major investment to become a reality. That meant presenting it confidently to the people in charge of some serious funds.
An mTag is a unique little device to monetise content, increase sales and engage audiences.
We ensured mTag’s pitch decks stood out and had a lasting impression on potential investors.
Alongside mTag's brand and messaging framework, we also developed a series of 'how to' videos demonstrating the app.
mTag is an exciting new media licensing and distribution platform democratising monetisation of digital media. The mTag platform enables everyday media to be made shoppable. It provides potent and transparent advertising for brands, while systematically distributing ad revenue directly to the contributors of the media that products are promoted through. And it launched on the App Store and Play Store in May 2019.

Communicating an idea
When you need investment in a business, a major challenge is presenting it in a way that is simple enough to convey the big idea, whilst getting your audience excited enough to help make it a reality. We kicked off by working with mTag’s founders to develop a simple articulation of their idea and position it from a commercial perspective.
mTag works for brands, media contributors and consumers alike. Users make their everyday media shoppable by tagging featured products, then share these posts across social media and as part of digital journalism and entertainment. Brands get their products organically advertised to relevant audiences, consumers get the products they want when they see them and media contributors share in the resulting ad revenue. This required efficient planning and seed investment to prove, develop and launch.
